WHAT IS STARTAPP?

StartApp   is a new monetization and distribution platform for Android applications designed to address the challenges the platform has created in terms of revenue generation for developers. Using the new StartApp SDK (software development kit), developers can receive $10 – $50 per 1,000 downloads, the company claims. This is higher than the $4 average per 1,000 downloads  developers see elsewhere, StartApp says. Sounds great, right? What’s the catch? When Android users download  StartApp -monetized applications to their phone, a new search icon and bookmark link appear on the device automatically. That’s right – bundled software! It’s not all that different from the ad-ware supported desktop applications of years past. Whenever a user searches the Web via StartApp’s portal, StartApp generates revenue which can then be shared with the developer. Developers have two options for payments: either up-front pay-per-downloads or ongoing revenue sharing from the new search option. The

Setting Up Your Payment Details In order to receive your revenue made by your apps' integration with our SDK, you will need to set up your payment method. Your payment information needs to be on record and filled in completely so we can process your payment and send your earnings to you on time. Receive payments on time You are able to add your payment information at any time, though it is mostly suggested to do so as part of your onboarding process. This way you will prevent forgetting to do so once payments are already due. If you would like to be paid on the next upcoming payment date and your earnings have met the payment threshold, make sure to add your payment information  before the 15th of the month .   For example, if you would like to be paid on November 1st, your payment information must be in our system  before October 15th  in order to be able to pay you on the November cycle. STARTAPP TRANSACTION PAGE STATUES

Transaction Page Statuses. The Transactions page shows all the payments that Start.io (Formerly StartApp) has transferred or tried to transfer to your selected payment method. Your payment's status can be any of the below. Submitted for payment The payment has been processed by our bank. This status also displays: VALUE DATE The expected date the payment should get to the beneficiary account. TRANSACTION REFERENCE NUMBER A banking number our payment partner used to transmit the payment. You can share this number with your bank in order to trace the transaction. In Process The payment has been submitted by Start.io (Formerly StartApp) and is awaiting processing from the banking partner. Failed Transactions usually fail because the payment information is incorrect or not all required payment information was provided. HOW TO UPDATE BILLING ADDRESS ON STARTAPP

How to update billing details? Make sure your billing details are correct: It is important for you to have the most up to date billing details showing in your account, as these will be used for invoicing. Click on the "Funds" tab and then "Billing Details":    You can see that your company name, email and country have been automatically added. You can now choose to apply changes, add details and email addresses.  

ELIGIBILITY FOR PAYMENT ON STARTAPP

Are You Eligible For a Payment? In order to be eligible for a payment, your earnings need to reach at least $50. First payment If you had yet to receive any payment from Start.io (Formerly StartApp), we will add up all of your monthly earnings and when they reach at least $50 we will submit your payment on  Net30 terms . Already received payments If you had already received a payment from us, in order to know when you will receive your next payment there are a couple of steps you can follow. STEP 1 Check the Transaction tab in your Payments Reports section to see the date of the last transaction. Remember, we pay on Net30 terms, so if the last transaction was in  November  for example, this payment includes all your earnings until  September  of that year. STEP 2 Click on the Earnings tab to see your monthly earnings report. Since the last payment you received included up until September earnings (following our example), you should now start calculating your accumulated earnings from t
